Cool Thing of the Month

Oggz

Oggz
Are they just color morphing accent lights or something more sinister? Don't worry, Oggz only look and feel like giant glowing alien eggs. They're made from flexible translucent silicone and contain color-changing LEDs that gradually morph from one color to another, providing soft, comforting low-level ambient lighting. Each Oggz egg has a self-contained power source and is charged through induction when placed on the tri-base (no exposed electrical contacts). The charging happens "through space," which, in itself, is rather cool. When the three Oggz are resting on the tri-base, they each cycle through all 7 colors at a slightly different rate over a two-minute period, creating a mesmerizing display. When removed from the base, they'll stay lit for up to 5 hours. (Added bonus if you know how to juggle: they won't break if dropped.) Twenty dollars for one or fifty for three at GetOggz.
